Bill overview
This bill changes Nevada law to allow courts to exercise broad, or ‘general personal,’ jurisdiction over certain businesses. Specifically, a business can be subject to a lawsuit in Nevada if it’s registered to do business there, agrees to be sued, or has significant contact with the state. These changes will take effect on October 1, 2025.
