Bill overview
This bill aims to ensure that advisory or temporary committees, councils, and task forces in New Jersey are actively functioning. If a body fails to meet or maintain a quorum at least once a year, it will be considered inactive. The Secretary of State will review these bodies annually to determine their status, and inactive bodies will have their members’ appointments terminated, preventing them from utilizing state employee resources.
