Bill overview
This bill would allow New Jersey residents who undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment to deduct 50% of their related expenses from their gross income on their state tax return. To be eligible, the expenses must not be covered by health insurance and cannot be deducted as other medical expenses. The bill takes effect immediately and applies to taxable years beginning after the date of enactment.
