Bill overview
This bill prohibits foreign governments and foreign persons from acquiring, purchasing, or otherwise obtaining an interest in agricultural or horticultural land and agricultural woodlands within New Jersey. It allows existing foreign owners a limited timeframe to sell the land to a non-foreign entity, with a requirement that the land remain used for agricultural or horticultural purposes.
