Overview
This bill requires that juveniles charged with delinquent acts be prosecuted in the county where the incident that led to the complaint took place. Currently, if a juvenile lives in a different county than where the crime occurred, the case can be moved to the juvenile’s home county unless the court deems it necessary to remain in the county where the incident happened.
