This bill removes the requirement that all New Jersey school boards of education must be members of the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA). Under the new law, boards of education can now choose whether or not to join NJSBA, and are no longer obligated to select a delegate to represent them. The bill also removes the requirement for boards to pay dues to the association.
