Overview
This bill establishes a counseling program in New Jersey to provide mental health support to eligible family members of active duty military personnel and disabled veterans. The program will reimburse mental health care professionals for counseling sessions offered to these family members, up to 10 per year. The Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs will work with the Department of Human Services to manage the program, including creating a list of participating professionals and conducting outreach efforts.
