Overview
This bill creates a grant program to expand dual enrollment opportunities for high school students in career and technical education. Public colleges and universities can apply for grants to offer college-level career and technical courses to high school students on campus or in high schools. The program will be funded with $5 million, and the Higher Education Secretary will oversee the grants and report on their impact to the Governor and the Legislature.
