Bill overview
This bill requires long-term care facilities in New Jersey, such as nursing homes and assisted living residences, to report information about their residents with disabilities. Facilities must track the total number of residents with a disability, categorize them by type of disability (determined by the Department of Health in consultation with the Department of Human Services), and report any changes to this data. The Department of Health will then publish this aggregated data on its website quarterly.
