This bill requires the New Jersey State Board of Education to create a general science endorsement for instructional certificates. Teachers seeking this endorsement must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related science field, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and pass required tests. Existing science endorsement holders who meet additional criteria can also apply for the new general science endorsement.
