Overview
The Ease of Doing Government Business Act requires New Jersey’s state and local government agencies to simplify and speed up how they provide services to the public. Within 180 days of the bill’s enactment, each agency must review its processes and identify ways to make transactions more efficient, utilizing technology and plain language. Agencies are also required to solicit and respond to public feedback on their services to continually improve them.
