Bill overview
This bill modifies Nevada’s rules for returning mail ballots. Currently, mail ballots must be postmarked by the day of the election and received by the county clerk by the fourth day after the election. This bill changes that, requiring mail ballots to be postmarked by the last day of early voting and received by the county clerk before the polls close on election day. The bill also addresses ballot drop box procedures and allows authorized individuals to return ballots on behalf of voters.
