Bill overview
This bill expands protections for certain individuals by allowing them to request court orders to keep their personal information confidential from county recorders, assessors, and elections officials. It also allows these individuals – including health care providers specializing in reproductive health and gender-affirming care, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, and minor children – to request alternate addresses on their driver’s licenses and identification cards, mirroring existing DMV procedures.
