Overview
This bill requires registered voters in New Jersey to present identification when voting at the polls. Acceptable forms of identification include New Jersey driver’s licenses, REAL ID cards, Motor Vehicle Commission IDs, U.S. passports, military IDs, and voter registration cards. If a voter doesn’t present identification or if the information doesn’t match, their eligibility to vote can be challenged.
