Overview
This bill amends the Open Public Meetings Act to require New Jersey municipal governing bodies to provide electronic notice of their meetings through the Internet. It allows for exceptions to this requirement for urgent matters or when certain documents, such as confidential records or those deemed harmful to the municipality, are involved. The bill also establishes a process for municipalities to seek state reimbursement for any additional costs incurred in implementing these electronic notice requirements.
