Overview
This bill amends existing New Jersey law to strengthen the state’s rental assistance programs by requiring landlords receiving rental assistance to maintain compliance with housing quality standards. It mandates that the Department of Community Affairs regularly consult a statewide database of residential rental property inspection findings to ensure landlords are meeting these standards.
