Overview
This bill transfers the Division of Food and Nutrition from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Human Services. It also appropriates $128.241 million from constitutionally dedicated revenues to the State Agriculture Development Committee for farmland preservation purposes. Specifically, the funds will be used to acquire development easements and fee simple titles to farmland, provide grants to counties and municipalities, and support administrative costs related to farmland preservation programs.
