Overview
This bill will exempt honorably discharged veterans from paying the passenger motor vehicle registration fee. To qualify, veterans must provide documentation proving their honorable discharge, which will be determined by the Adjutant General. The bill also requires the Motor Vehicle Commission and the Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs to notify eligible veterans about this new exemption.
