Overview
This bill eliminates the supplemental realty transfer fee, a graduated fee imposed on property sales in New Jersey. The fee was established in 2003 and consisted of various amounts based on the sale price. By removing this fee, the state and counties will no longer receive revenue from this source. The bill amends existing legislation to formally repeal the supplemental fee provision.
