Overview
This bill directs the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to create a new program called ‘Go Build.’ The program aims to increase awareness of and access to construction jobs and training opportunities within the state. It will achieve this through public education, workforce training, recruitment efforts, marketing, and partnerships with industry and educational institutions. The department will also be required to regularly report on the program’s progress and effectiveness to the Governor and the Legislature.
