Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD) to create and implement two plans: an Information Technology stress test and an emergency telework plan. The DOLWD must conduct an analysis of its current technology infrastructure to identify potential weaknesses exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic and develop solutions to improve its resilience. Furthermore, the department is directed to establish a telecommuting program that considers employee requests while aligning with operational needs.
