Overview
This bill creates a program allowing veterans who meet certain requirements to receive a temporary five-year teaching certificate in New Jersey. Veterans must have served at least four years, completed at least 60 college credits, and passed subject matter knowledge exams while enrolled in an educator preparation program. School districts can then employ these veterans in teaching positions, and their teaching experience will count towards clinical practice requirements.
