Overview
This bill requires individuals not licensed by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission to send a notification to homeowners before texting them about selling a home. This notification must state that the sender is not a licensed agent, the employer they work for, and that the text is a solicitation. Violators could face fines of up to $10,000.
