Overview
This bill allows certain New Jersey wineries with a plenary or farm winery license (producing up to 250,000 gallons annually) to sell wine produced by other licensed wineries, either within New Jersey or out-of-state. It also establishes a new ‘supplemental wine production facility’ sublicense, permitting wineries to produce wine at a separate facility and then sell or transfer it to their licensed premises or for retail sale. The bill requires a minimum of 50% of the winery’s annual sales to be produced on-site.
