Overview
This bill requires manufacturers of menstrual products sold in New Jersey to list all ingredients on the packaging. The list must be displayed prominently and also posted on the manufacturer’s website. Manufacturers must also update labels within 18 months of any ingredient changes, and those failing to comply will face a civil penalty. The bill clarifies that confidential business information will not be disclosed on the packaging.
