Overview
This bill makes several changes to the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) for prosecutors in New Jersey. It allows prosecutors who served as judicial law clerks to receive service credit in the Prosecutors Part of PERS, increases the salary of the Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division and county prosecutors, and permits retired judges to continue collecting their pension while serving as county prosecutors.
