Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to conduct unscheduled surprise inspections of certain school buses in addition to regular scheduled inspections. The MVC will establish a new enhanced safety inspection program with specific standards for equipment, maintenance, driver records, and emissions.
