Overview
This bill would allow public colleges and universities to collect fees from student tuition bills and distribute those funds to legislative agents and organizations that attempt to influence legislation. Currently, such fees are prohibited. However, the bill would permit the collection of these fees as ‘waivable fees,’ meaning students could opt to waive them.
