Overview
This bill directs the New Jersey Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development to study the effects of artificial intelligence on the state’s economy. The commissioner will work with the New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation, and Technology to analyze how AI might impact the job market, particularly for highly skilled professions, and identify potential new jobs. A report summarizing these findings will be submitted to the Governor and the Legislature within one year.
