Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Division of Taxation to conduct audits of out-of-state contractors who have entered into contracts with either the state government or private entities. These audits will examine the allocation of administrative expenses, internal financial controls, and annual financial reports of the contractors. The Division will also establish a hotline for reporting suspected wrongdoing and submit audit results to relevant agencies and the legislature.
