Overview
This bill changes the New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship (NJ STARS) Program to allow students to apply for the scholarship even if they don't initially demonstrate college readiness. Currently, students had one year to improve their skills or lose eligibility. This bill removes that one-year time limit and ensures that once a student is eligible for the program, their eligibility won't expire as long as they continue to meet the program’s requirements.
