Overview
This bill updates the responsibilities of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges. It requires the council to submit an annual unified budget request for state support of county colleges, develop a performance-based formula for allocating state aid, and create a biennial strategic plan in consultation with county colleges. The bill also strengthens the council’s role as an advisor to the state government and expands its responsibilities related to data sharing, workforce development, and collaboration among county colleges.
