Overview
This bill expands the list of approved sites for the Behavioral Healthcare Provider Loan Redemption Program in New Jersey. Currently, approved sites are limited to nonprofit and governmental organizations. This legislation allows for-profit community providers of behavioral and mental health services to also be considered as approved sites under the program, increasing access to loan redemption opportunities for eligible healthcare professionals.
