Overview
This bill allows students experiencing menstrual disorders, such as severe cramps, heavy bleeding, or endometriosis, to attend school remotely. Students can request accommodation from their parents or guardians, who must provide medical documentation if requested by the school. Days spent learning remotely will be counted as full school days for graduation and course credit requirements. The bill also directs the Department of Education and Health to develop guidelines for excused absences related to menstrual disorders.
