Overview
This bill creates a voluntary fund, the ‘New Jersey Reproductive Health Care Equitable Access Fund,’ that allows New Jersey taxpayers to contribute a portion of their state income tax refunds or include a separate donation on their tax return. These contributions will be distributed annually to the three largest providers of reproductive health care services to Medicaid patients in the state, specifically to support individuals who cannot afford these services. The bill also defines ‘reproductive health care services’ to include a broad range of medical and related services.
