Overview
This bill requires law enforcement to notify the State Parole Board whenever a parolee violates a domestic violence restraining order. If a parole officer determines a parolee is violating such an order, they must immediately notify the State Parole Board. The bill also establishes a system for updating the domestic violence central registry to reflect parole status and restraining order information. Finally, it modifies procedures for contempt proceedings involving domestic violence restraining orders.
