Overview
This bill directs the New Jersey Departments of Human Services (DHS) and Health to conduct a study examining the potential effects of federal Medicaid funding cuts. The study will analyze how these cuts could impact hospitals, long-term care facilities, transportation providers, direct service organizations, Medicaid eligibility, and state and local budgets. The departments must then submit a report to the Governor and the Legislature with findings and recommendations for maintaining Medicaid services.
