Overview
This bill would require the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to allow customers to schedule appointments online. If a customer schedules an appointment for document renewal and the earliest available appointment is after the document’s expiration date, the document’s expiration date will be extended until the scheduled appointment time. The MVC must then provide documentation confirming this extended expiration date to the customer.
