Overview
This bill provides additional State school aid to certain New Jersey school districts that are facing reductions in their existing state funding. Specifically, districts with a State aid reduction exceeding one percent of their 2023-2024 operating budget are eligible to receive Supplemental Stabilization Aid. To receive this aid, districts must submit a plan detailing how they will fund operations in future years without the supplemental funding. Funds will be drawn from the Property Tax Relief Fund.
