Overview
This bill would exempt bars located in municipally designated redevelopment areas in New Jersey from certain provisions of the Noise Control Act of 1971. Specifically, bars operating between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in these areas would be allowed to operate without violating noise restrictions. This exemption applies to bars that were already operating as of August 31, 2011, and is intended to support economic development in designated redevelopment zones.
