Overview
This bill modifies the use of funds in the 9-1-1 System and Emergency Response Trust Fund Account. It expands the types of costs that can be covered by the account to include recruitment and retention of first responders, as well as costs related to enhanced 9-1-1 technology and equipment. Additionally, the bill directs five percent of the account’s funds to the New Jersey EMS Task Force to support emergency medical services.
