Overview
This bill modifies existing regulations regarding the inspection of motor vehicle sales records. Specifically, it removes a previous requirement that online sales records must be immediately accessible for inspection. Instead, licensees must maintain electronic records in a format that allows for inspection by the Motor Vehicle Commission, and provide one business day’s notice before inspecting records at a dealer’s or buyer’s location.
