Overview
This bill proposes to create a New Jersey Cold War medal to honor veterans who served honorably during the Cold War (September 2, 1945 – December 26, 1991). The medal will be presented by the Governor to eligible residents or those who were residents at the time of service. The bill also establishes a dedicated fund to cover the costs of designing, manufacturing, and distributing the medal.
