Overview
This bill will allow electric vehicle owners in New Jersey to receive special windshield stickers from the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). These stickers will indicate that the vehicle is exempt from regular emission inspections. The MVC, in consultation with the Department of Highway Traffic Safety, will be responsible for designing and issuing these stickers free of charge. Vehicle owners must remove the stickers when the ownership or lease period ends.
