Overview
This bill authorizes the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue ‘250th Anniversary Revolutionary War’ license plates for vehicles registered in the state. Applicants must pay a $50 application fee and an annual $10 renewal fee, with proceeds deposited into a dedicated fund to support Revolutionary War sites throughout New Jersey. The design of the plates will be determined in consultation with the New Jersey Historical Commission, and the program will not initially use state funds for design or programming costs.
