Overview
This bill requires New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) to create and implement an education program to inform people with disabilities, senior citizens, and others with mobility needs about the services they offer, including the Access Link program and reduced fares. The program must provide information through its website, pamphlets, monthly information sessions, and a public awareness campaign, with coordination with the Department of Transportation. NJ Transit will also submit an annual report on the program’s activities to the Governor and the Legislature.
