Overview
This bill removes certain restrictions on manufacturers allowing them to directly sell zero-emission light-duty trucks to consumers in New Jersey. Currently, manufacturers were limited in their ability to sell these vehicles directly. The bill allows manufacturers to sell up to four vehicles directly to consumers and requires them to maintain at least one service facility in the state for servicing those vehicles. This change aims to increase the availability of zero-emission trucks to consumers.
