Overview
This bill proposes to allow certain substitute teachers to enroll in the Teachers’ Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF). Currently, eligibility for TPAF enrollment is limited. This legislation would broaden access to the pension system for substitute teachers, providing them with a retirement benefit similar to that of full-time educators. The bill amends the existing law to explicitly include substitute teachers as eligible members.
