Bill overview
This bill limits the fees that health care providers can charge to fill out forms required for employee leaves of absence under the Family and Medical Leave Act. Specifically, it prohibits providers from charging more than $30 for these forms, and this amount will be adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index to account for inflation. The Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for calculating and posting the updated fee amount each year.
