This bill directs the Nevada Legislative Auditor to conduct audits of Vegas PBS and the Department of Education’s grant programs for public broadcasting organizations. Specifically, the audit of Vegas PBS will examine its financial management, employment practices, budget, and hiring processes. The audit of the Department of Education’s grants will analyze their distribution and historical increases to each receiving organization. The findings of these audits will be presented to the Audit Subcommittee of the Legislative Commission.
